How to joinMALCS membership is open to all Chicanas, Latinas, and Native American women working toward the support, education and dissemination of Chicana/Latina & Native American women's issues. This includes faculty, staff, graduate students, undergraduates, and community members. Membership includes
Membership runs on a yearly cycle from August to August, and is usually collected at the Chicana/Latina Summer Research Institute. New memberships are accepted year-round, but those received after March 1 will be members for the following year. You will not be added to the membership until your payment has been received. Annual membership fees are based on income; additional contributions are always welcome and may be targeted for either the General Fund, the MALCS Journal (Chicana/Latina Studies), Summer Institute scholarship funds, or the Endowment Trust Fund for the MALCS Archives.
